Narberth Leisure Leagues Round Up - 16/5/2008
Sumo Warriors underlined their championship credentials after Dwayne Rossiter
helped them turn around a half-time deficit to win 5-1 against Flat Pack 4.
The win was a crucial one, and saw Warriors move to the top after previous
leaders Nomad Stars were surprisingly defeated 3-1 by a Jason Reece-inspired
Landsker
Eagles.
Stars’ slip meant that third placed Inter Mi Nan are now just a point behind
in third, which gave Brett Merry plenty to be happy about as he claimed the honours
in their 2-0 victory over The Underdogs.
The two remaining games were full of goals, and bottom side Beernfood Rangers
picked up just their second win if the season as they eased out Spice Boys
4-1, with Perry Broadhurst outstanding, and inconsistent Stallion Men were
bang on
form in beating Killgetty Boys 6-3, with Ashley Williams producing some of
his best form this season in the romp.
