Narberth Short Mat Bowls Club was formed 15 years ago by George James who was then farming at Cilrath, Narberth.

It was the first short mat bowls club to be formed in Pembrokeshire. Today there are 15 clubs in the county and all clubs are affiliated to the Welsh Short Mat Bowls Association.

The main season starts on September 1st and ends on April 30th. In the summer period we also play friendly games with clubs who are not affiliated to the county association.

Our club is based at the Bloomfield Community Centre in Narberth and we play every Wednesday from 7.30 pm to 10.00 pm.

At present our membership stands at 18.

We are actively looking for new members of any age group from Senior Citizens to Juniors. If you are interested please contact me, Lionel Phillips on 01834 891350.
