The third Tenby Blues Festival comes to the seaside town of Tenby on the weekend of 14^th – 16^th November 2008.

Artists are now confirmed and the full weekend line up can be seen in the Line Up section of  this site. We are especially excited to have Amercian blues stars Sherman Roberston and Eugene 'Hideway' Bridges at our festival as well as legendary slide guitarist Johnny Dickinson.

The Sunday lunch time gig scheduled for the Rugby Club has been moved to the larger De Valence because of unprecedented public demand to hear both Johnny Dickinson and The Sean Webster Band. Don't worry if you have already purchased tickets, the price remains the same and the two venues are only about 50 metres apart in Upper Frog Street.

Legendary bluesman PAT GROVER has become official ambassador for Tenby Blues Festival. Pat's career began in the 60s when he supported many visiting US bluesmen such as JB Hutto and Champion Jack Dupree. For over 20 years his band, the Blue Zeros, played concerts and festivals all over the country. He is now performing with his new band, the Blue Hawks, who will be playing a special one-off FREE gig on the final night of the festival at the Lifeboat Tavern in Tudor Square.

Another gig has now been added to the festival Sunday 'fringe'. Icelandic fiddle player Dan Cassidy (brother of the late Eva Cassidy) will be performing a concert with the Whiskey River Band in Cafe Vista, Crackwell Street, on Sunday night. They will be joined in session by cafe owner Claudia who is also from Iceland and who is well known on the Welsh jazz and blues circuit. Tickets are £10 from Cafe Vista.
