Neighbourhoods are gearing up for a week of action in Pembrokeshire.

Neighbourhoods in Action starts on Monday and runs for five days with road shows, community projects and enforcement activities taking place.

It follows on from the successful Not in My Neighbourhood week in October last year.

A number of agencies are supporting the week including Dyfed Powys Police, Pembrokeshire County Council, Mid Wales and West Fire and Rescue Service and the DVLA.

There are lots of activities taking place throughout the week and members of the community are being encouraged to get involved.

Sally Thompson, of Pembrokeshire Community Safety Partnership, said: “We want to get as many people involved as possible to make these real community events.

“All the projects have been nominated by residents and we hope by working together we can all make a real difference.

“Volunteers are needed for all the projects listed below so please come along and help us. Anyone wanting to get involved can either come along to the road show which runs from 9am each day or contact their local neighbourhood policing team on 0845 330 2000.”
