The Acoustic Sessions: Jennifer Crook plus supportFriday February 26th Queen's Hall, Narberth. Doors open 7.30, show starts 8pm. Bath-based singer-songwriter Jennifer Crook first came to public attention as a finalist in Radio 2's Young Tradition Award in 1993. Since then she's worked with some of the biggest names in the folk world and played in numerous acclaimed bands including her duo with fiddler Henry Sears. Best known as a superlative singer and Celtic harpist, she will be performing with Snow Patrol on harp and vocals throughout their 2009-10 tour. But she's recently turned her attention to a beautiful old Gibson guitar, and the result has been her wonderful debut solo album A few small things, a gorgeous collection of songs combining folk and acoustica with a delicate, haunting edge that has left both audiences and reviewers breathless with admiration. Jennifer will be appearing with a band and support act - details to be confirmed... Tickets for this event will be £9 or £7 for Span Arts members and concessions.
